Repeal the Tan Tax
During this COVID-19 pandemic when there is more talk of relief packages coming through Congress, help us out by joining our friends at the American Suntanning Association by writing to our elected officials to repeal the Tan Tax.
COVID has undoubtedly affected small businesses, and this repeal (along with any additional relief bills) would be a relief in and of itself.
Please consider writing our elected officials by contacting info@americansuntanning.org so that they can help you submit letters with ease.

As a midwinter gift to our loyal customers, we’ve recently introduced the VersaSpa Pro to our lineup of cutting-edge tanning equipment. Since Tropical Tan’s opening three decades ago, we’ve amassed a collection of 30 tanning beds, as well as top-of-the-line spray tanning booths. The VersaSpa Pro represents the latest spray-tan technology, offering four levels of color instead of the usual three. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned self-tanner, our staff is always happy to answer any questions you have about which level could be the right fit for your skin type.
The results of a spray tan typically last about four to five days, but the experts at VersaSpa Pro have designed a range of products to help the results last even longer—at least a full week, in some cases. In addition to their line of moisturizing lotions, they also offer the following tips on how to keep your spray tan from fading early:
- Shave and exfoliate thoroughly before entering the spray tan booth
- Wait at least four hours before showering or swimming
- Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water
- Always moisturize well after showering, bathing, or swimming
