Tropical Tan Will be at the Bridal Expo and the Joplin Business Expo
Metropolitan Bridal Expo
Join Tropical Tan this weekend at the Metropolitan Bridal Expo on January 25, 2015. We will be showcasing our bridal packages & how Tropical Tan can help brides achieve the perfect sun-kissed glow for their special day. Information will be available for our Uv free spray tans, high pressure beds., infrared body wraps, radiance red light therapy, & aqua massage therapy. For a $3.00 donation you can spin our wheel to win awesome prizes (all proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House). and be sure to register for our Bridal giveaway!
The expo is being hosted by the Metropolitan Bridal Magazine, a magazine whose mission is to connect, not sell, by featuring area businesses who can help brides achieve their vision of a dream wedding. The magazine has won multiple awards and is currently being distributed in the Four States.
The expo will take place at the Downstream Casino Pavillion (69300 East Nee Road Joplin, OK 74363) from 11AM to 4PM. Admission is $5 and all proceeds from the event will go to the Ronald McDonald House of the four states the Metropolitan Bridal Magazine is distributed in, making it a worthwhile cause for all attendees. There will also be a silent auction at the event for a prize package featuring products and services from the many vendors seen at the event.
Preregistration can be done on the Metro Bridal Website and entitles guests to the event to be entered into a drawing for a wedding dress. Guests buying tickets at the door will not be eligible for this opportunity.

A Tale of Two Tanning Beds (and a Scary Experience Narrowly Avoided!)
Jessica is getting married soon, and she couldn’t be more excited. She’s reserved the perfect location, confirmed details with the caterer, and picked out the perfect dress. There’s only one thing left to do–get the perfect tan.
Because Jessica is so busy planning her wedding, she decides to just go tanning at the local gym, where she can work out as well. After all, the tanning is free and the round-the-clock hours seem really convenient!
The first time she goes to tan, however, she begins to worry. It’s been a while since she’s tanned before, and there’s no one to show her how to work the bed or to help her choose the right duration. The gym has a very poor selection of lotions, and their selection of beds is even poorer. Several kids are running around, and there’s not a staff member to be found.
“I guess you get what you pay for…” Jessica thinks.
