This month Tropical Tan is celebrating 30 years in business and we could not be more excited! It seems like just yesterday we opened our doors; now we are the number one tanning salon in the four-state area! Whether you’re an avid tan enthusiast or you have only thought about trying it out someday, mark your calendar for Saturday, February 22, 2014 because Tropical Tan in Joplin, Missouri has a fantastic tanning special you won’t want to miss!

From 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on February 22 only, anyone who walks through our doors gets to tan for free! That’s right—free! We simply want to thank our amazing customers for making us Joplin’s number one tanning salon.

As if the free tanning isn’t enough, we will also have tons of great specials and giveaways beginning Thursday, February 20, 2014 and lasting all throughout the weekend, including *25 percent off select lotions and tanning packages and *40 percent off yearly memberships. The MSSU cheerleaders will be there to help with games & giveaways. Be sure to listen for our live remotes 10am-12pm with KIX 102.5 and 12pm-2pm with KISSIN 92.5.

There will also be a drawing for a Large Tropical Arrangement of Chocolate Flavored Fresh Fruit from Carmen’s Apples. And fresh smoothies will be for sale at a tent on the parking lot all day!

The first tan is always free for new customers, and we always have great specials going on.

A popular costume choice for many recent years has been zombies. Zombies are taking the Halloween circuit by storm and you can basically pull together an outfit in minutes! The good thing about this costume type is that you can use many things you may already have around the house. Here are a few items to get you started:
