The intense heat that we often get during the summer months in Joplin is cause for concern over spending any amount of time in the sun. The award is one that company owners are particularly proud of because it’s a reflection of the way they’ve intentionally run their business – a foundation of faith that inspires genuine care for each person who walks through Tropical Tan’s doors.

“We like to give God the honor and fearlessly serve Him in every aspect of life, especially in our business,” said Denise Graves, owner of Tropical Tan along with her husband. “God owns the business, and we try to abide by Joshua 24:15, which says ‘As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.'”
